Attentive staff made the stay enjoyable.
The room had a stale cigarette smell despite the no smoking policy.

The room was great value, it had a bidet, a dryer, and terry cloth robes. It was facing street. The hotel's location was perfect and incredible, very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera House, National Museum and Post Office and coffee shops. Furthermore, in Hanoi downtown.

The hotel is only 2 years old so everything is very new and clean. The rooms are really nice - a good size and the deluxe rooms have a balcony. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. It's not too expensive. It's in a great location - easy to walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.

The Conifer Hotel was an excellent introduction to our 10day trip to Vietnam. We chose 2 rooms and lived in comfort for 2 nights proving again that you dont need to pay 4 star prices for 4 star service. Within the first day the staff proved always eager to help as we adjusted to the hectic traffic and bustle of old Hanoi. After our 3 day Halong Bay cruise we returned again to Hanoi, regretfully staying at another hotel but we called in to the Conifer Hotel and were greeted like old friends, we will definitely return to Hanoi and stay there again.

Recommend it for families enjoying a good time
The staff is fantastic and took care of everything, Mr Tung made a last-minute transportation arrangement to Halong without breaking a sweat. The breakfast was pretty good too, fresh fruits and a mix of western and Asian dishes, nice touch.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for the experience I got.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The simplicity of the hotel was very welcome, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, specially the bed. The location absolutely star. Much nicer staying in this small hotel than a large 4/5 star one, in my opinion. I must say, that even the guests were friendly!!!
I chose this hotel because it is a small hotel, so I suppose that is the reason for no busy bar, which would have been welcome, since I was staying there alone. The breakfast could have had a few more choices. But in all, it was a great place to stay in Hanoi.

Quiet location, difficult to find in a city such as Hanoi. Staff tried to impress, much appreciable. Room decoration and materials (marble, wood) are noble and of good taste. Bed was of good quality.
Food, although not bad, could be improved if we look at high standards. Pastas should be served in deep plates along with grated parmigiano. Sea-bass with lemon sauce should not be cooked so long, and lemon sauce is not supposed to includ so many mushrooms. Breakfast should include fresh fruit juices.

Great location away from the busy areas, yet still a pleasant walk to restaurants and attractions. The balcony in our deluxe room made for a lovely space to relax. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the pastries! , particularly Alice at reception, went above and beyond to.
